I’m not gonna spend this post bashing Tumblr or whatnot. I obviously don’t agree with their decision, but for the most part I can’t say anything bad about my time here. It’s helped me develop a fanbase more than any other site thus far. It ironically started as a haven for me when my work began to get too risque for DeviantART, another site I also am thankful for. But me and those who like my work successfully transitioned from there to Tumblr, and I hope the over 65k of you will do it with me again!
I’m too modest to have ever really freaked out about my follower count publically, but you guys deserve more thank you posts cuz I vividly remember going nuts at the idea of 100 followers/watchers on DA. And I’ve appreciated each milestone and every supporter along the way even if I don’t say it much.
It might not sound great on the surface but I really do this mostly to impress you guys lol. I want to interact with you guys when I post. I wanna see comments, responses, questions, advice and requests! That means so much more to me than popularity without interaction. At times its the only thing that keeps me going. I could be getting a million likes on each pic, but I’d lose the passion if there was no one asking what Carmen’s hobbies are, or where would I take Dicky Vicky next, or anything showing a real interest in what I draw. There’s nothing more rewarding for me than drawing something I know you all have been waiting for. And as long as you want more, I’ll always be back!
Thank you all again for being so supportive and respectful over the years!
Here’s a post listing everywhere you guys can find me! Continue supporting the NSFW artists you love wherever they go!
…And if you guys are still on here after the 17th, I’ll see what state my page is in and I might still post “safe” stuff
